SAP CRM

SAP CRM is SAP's on-premise customer relationship management software, part of the SAP Business Suite. It supports sales, service and marketing teams with accounts, contacts, opportunities, campaigns, service orders and contracts, and works closely with SAP ERP for orders, pricing and billing.

It runs in a company's own data centre or private cloud, unlike SAP C4C, which is SAP's cloud CRM. SAP has announced an end date for its mainstream maintenance, so many companies are planning a move to SAP's cloud CRM or to the customer management built into SAP S/4HANA.

For example, a field service company records each repair visit as a service order in SAP CRM, linked to the customer's contract. CORESight does not connect to SAP CRM today.
