Delete Your Data

There are three routes, and any one is enough. You do not need to reinstall the app or still have access to it.

From the mobile app

Open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm. This sends the request straight to us, so there is no email to write. We send a confirmation to the address your account uses.

Ask your administrator

Your organisation's CORESight administrator can delete your account directly from the web application. This is usually the fastest route, because they can act immediately.

Write to us

Email privacy@coreops.ai from the address your CORESight account uses, with the subject "CORESight data deletion request". Tell us your name and your organisation. We will confirm receipt, verify that the request comes from the account holder, and come back to you when it is done. If you cannot write from that address, say so and we will agree another way to verify you.

On a deletion request we remove the personal data held about you:

• Your account: name, email address, role and sign-in credentials
• Your questions and the answers CORESight generated for them, including voice-dictated questions, which are stored as text
• Your saved insights, chats and conversation history
• Any reports you filed about AI-generated content, and the notes in them
• Device tokens registered for push notifications, which also stops any further notification
• Your product usage and activity records

Your account stops working as soon as the deletion is carried out, on every device and on the web.

Two things survive a deletion request, and it is worth being plain about both.

Your organisation's business data

The datasets, databases and files your organisation connected to CORESight belong to the organisation rather than to you, and are not deleted when an individual account is. Your administrator controls those, and can remove a dataset or close the workspace entirely.

Records we are required to keep

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it, or for security, fraud prevention and billing records. These are kept only as long as the relevant obligation lasts, are not used to contact you or to build a profile, and are deleted when the obligation ends.

We acknowledge a request within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. A request made through your administrator usually takes effect the same day. Backups are rotated on a rolling 35-day cycle, so a copy of deleted data may persist in an encrypted backup until that cycle completes; it is not restored into the live product and is not accessible to anyone operating it.
